BEFORE AND AFTER CARE
HOW DO I PREPARE FOR MY TAN?
Thoroughly exfoliate and shave prior to your tan, it is best to use an exfoliating mitt.
DO NOT use Dove soap, or anything that says "renewing," "regenerating," "anti-aging," or "anti-acne". Sulfate-free and natural products are best.
Avoid wearing make up, moisturizers, and deodorant to your appointment, as this acts as a barrier to the spray and stops the color from developing properly.
Wear dark coloured, loose fitting clothing and sandals (or loose shoes) following your treatment. (long sleeves and long pants are best to prevent skin on skin contact.
Wax and have appointments like a manicure and pedicure done at least 1 day BEFORE your treatment.
WHAT DO IÂ WEAR DURING THE TAN?
What you wear is up to you, you can wear as much or as little as you like. Keeping in mind what you choose to wear is what tan lines you will have. If wearing undergarments during your tan make sure they are dark or items you don't mind getting bronzer on.
HOW DO I MAINTAIN MY TAN?
Do not shower or sweat for 12 hours following your appointment. For Express Tans allow 3-5 hours before showering.

Moisturize using a paraben-free lotion at least twice daily for a minimum of one week. Keeping moisturized will help maintain an even, flawless fade.
Do not use body washes and soaps with sodium lauryl sulfate or fragrance as they will lighten your tan & remove it quicker
DO NOT use Dove & Ivory Products
Your first rinse you will notice a lot of product washing off. Don't worry you are not losing your tan. It's just the bronzer washing away.
Avoid chlorinated jacuzzis, saunas, and steam rooms.
HOW LONG Â WILL MY TAN LAST?
Your tan will last anywhere from 7-10 days, on average. The amount of physical activity, after care, and proper preparation for the tan are all factors of how many days one can expect their tan to last.
